Registrations for European Waste Reduction Week (EWR) 2016, which takes place from 19 to 27 November, are open until 10 November only. Administrations and communities, associations, educational establishments and the general public: quickly register your waste reduction awareness actions! These may include actions to:
- consume better: avoid overpackaging, promotion of eco-labeled products;
- produce better: production of eco-designed products;
- extend the life of products: repair and donation;
- throw away less: compost, for example.
- The most remarkable actions are rewarded each year during the SERD Trophies ceremony, after selection by a national and European jury.
